SnowGecko snow socks are the quick & easy solution for increasing tyre-to-road grip when icy and snowy roads. Snow socks are designed and manufactured from a textile material and are easier & quicker to fit than traditional snow chains. Snow socks can even be used on cars where snow chains can't be fitted due to required clearances.

-Suitable for use with alloy wheels, even where snow chains not suitable! They won’t damage alloy wheels and can be used on wheels with low clearance between the tyre and car body
- Use on ice and snow covered roads
- Remove them once you are on a gritted or clear road.
- Turn smoothly to avoid skidding
- Reduce you speed on wet snow particularly if mixed with grit.
- Take them off your vehicle at night, leaving them on will cause the snow and ice to freeze the fabric and will render them ineffective
- Dry the snow socks after use and before packing them away. It’s always a good idea to wash them with cold water at the end of the Winter season before storage.
- Avoid braking suddenly. This will result in wearing the snow sock excessively.
-Use on roads that are free and clear of snow and ice. Doing so will wear the snow sock fabric. The snow sock must be removed once back on dry road surfaces.
-Exceed 40km/hr.
- Use on heavy commercial vehicles such as Ford Transit Vans.
-Use on a prolonged basis. Snow sock are designed to get your vehicle moving on snow and ice covered roads.
-Use in off-road conditions where the road surface is very uneven. This will cause the sock to tear.
Using SnowGecko snow socks on road surfaces that are free of snow and/or ice will void the 1 year parts warranty which covers against manufacturing defects only. Please be aware that this warranty does not cover normal wear and tear from prolonged use. Driving through road debris and skidding or spinning drive wheels will also void the warranty.Please ensure that the snow socks are used accordingly so as not to void this warranty.
All our snow socks are available in our shop or can be delivered by our courier. Your vehicles tyre size dictates which size snow sock you need.
